What does American airlines, K-mart, Ford, Chevy, A.I.G have in common with you?

[tweetmeme source=”your_twitter_name” only_single=flase http://www.URL.com]

Have you ever had a bad day? Of course you have, who hasn’t?  Everyone has one from time to time.  I have written about bad days before, but I got a special request to address an issue as it relates to bad days, money, and stress.

So lets talk about these issues.  Only the most wealthy .0001% (made up statistic) never ever have money difficulties.  Personally, for the most part I don’t believe that there is such a thing as money difficulties, however that is for another blog.  Unless you feel the same way as me then this blog is for you.  Millionaires and billionaires go bankrupt.  American airlines, K-mart, Ford, Chevy, A.I.G and ton’s of other huge enormous extra wealthy businesses have gone bankrupt.  Ford, one of the biggest auto makers in the world is loosing money.

If it can happen to Ford it can happen to anyone.  I mean seriously Ford has amazing accountants and business managers, and they still got it wrong!  So did everyone else on the above list.  They had to re structure in order to keep going.

So you make $3,000/month and they may  $3,000,000/day, but the struggle is still the same.

Before I go on I think it would be wise to point something out.  Perhaps you need a new perspective on money.  If money is stressing you out, perhaps it’s time to re-evaluate what money really is, however, that is not the point of this article.  I’ll give you one hit as to what I’m talking about though.  Imagine your lungs are your bank account, and your air is your money.  What would happen if you filled your bank account up with money and never let any go?  You would DIE!  In fact your lungs are empty (out of money) several times a minute, however what happens?  They fill up again.

Money and life is very similar to this.  If you don’t spend money there is no reason to earn it. The whole entire reason that you work is to spend money.  That’s it!  You would just volunteer if that were not true.  Your propose, your goals, your outcome when you work is to spend money.  If you don’t breath out there is no reason to breath in.  So, this is the basics for why I don’t really believe in money difficulties, however you might not be fully understanding this concept yet, so lets move onto something else.

Stress:  Is there such a thing as stress?  The answer is yes, but also no.  You see, stress is relative to your perspective.  My perspective and your perspective are different, so stress to you, is not stress to me.  Stress to me is not stress to you.  A truth is something that is always true, right?  1+1 always equals 2.  Always!  However low money does not always = stress.  Health issues does not always = stress.  Poor job does not always = stress.   A poor job to one person is a great job to another.  Some people are homeless all their lives, money probably does not stress them out.  So lets put all these random thoughts into one cohesive theory.  The Justin Criner Theory of the Lie called Stress.

If you can’t define something, and if something is never the same thing to two people, and if it does not have mass or weight or a physical existence, if it is constantly changing, and if everyone sees it differently does it really exist, or is it only in your head?

You see, your amount of stress and your taking on stress is all in your head.  I might take on stress differently than you do, so mine is in my head as well, and furthermore, my view and cause of stress is completely different from yours.  We would probably never agree on everything that stresses us out, because it would be different for each of us.  So the bottom line is that stress does not really exist.  It is made up in your head.  If you were to tell everyone that you hear noises and voices in your head they would think you were nuts, however that’s what stress is.  Stress is a voice in your head, and your head alone.  This voice says for you to worry, get upset, get sick, and “stress” out about a situation.  However it’s not real.

So how does that help you?  Well first you must realize that you are creating all of your stress from the inside out.  No matter how much money you have or don’t have, all the stress is coming from between your 2 ears.

No matter how much stress you put in your life, you will not grow your money.  No amount of stress will make your money supply grow or your health grow, or your relationships grow, or your boss treat you right.

The critic might say that stress causes you to work hard and that puts more money in your pocket, but this is not true either.  You become motivated for some reason, so you do some action, and this action causes you to put more money in your pocket.  Your motivation, whatever causes it, is what moves you to that place of working harder, not your stress.

Okay, so we have talked about money; that you have to be spending it to survive; and that everyone feels they could use more, no matter what their income level is.  We have also talked about stress, that its fake, made up, and false.  How does this play into having a bad day.

Every day has good and bad things in it.  You decide what is good, you decide what is bad.  Some people like rain, some like the sun.  Some people think a rainy day is the worst thing ever, others love the rain.  So what made the day bad?  Not the rain, not the sun, but the choice in your head, that’s what made the day bad.

Do you want to have a bad day?  Sure you do, if you did not, then you would not choose that…..  What’s that you say?  You don’t want to have a bad day?  Oh, well if that is true, then why do you choose to have a bad day?

I have the answer in the next sentence.

You choose to have a bad day because (drum roll)

a) you did not know better (were not informed)

b) you did not choose to have a good day

c) you put more weight on the bad things that happened then the good things

d)  you decided to judge some things as bad and some as good.

I’m currently writing a book on this very topic where I go into much greater detail, however this will be your basics.

You must first know that you literally do choose to have a bad day.  I know many people will say, well bad things happen, and you can’t help that.

My answer.  Roses have thorns.  Every day has thorns.  Every day also has roses.  So is the day 1/2 bad or 1/2 good?  you choose.  Is the day fully good?  I mean if there were no thorns on roses, then they would all get picked and trampled by animals and we could not enjoy them, so the thorns are good things… WHAT?  The thorns make us learn, they make us grow, and they make us enjoy more of everything.

What if someone else did everything for you for your entire life?  I think of Parris Hilton as an example of this.  How smart would you be?  How would your life be?  Have you ever learned something from a challenge?  Have you ever made money off of a challenge?  Have you ever grown up from a challenge?  Did all of these things support you and make your life more fulfilling?

HOW CAN YOU CALL A DAY BAD, WHEN YOU LEARNED, GREW, AND MADE THE LIFE MORE FULFILLING?

So I have rambled on about a few different topics and I’m getting tired of writing, plus this has gong much longer than I expected.

We all get down at times.  We have to learn to pick ourselves up because no one else can really do it for us.  We pick ourselves up through our perspective.

Part of this is understanding truth.  The truth, there are not any bad days, there is no such thing as stress, and money comes and goes, that’s how it was designed.  Days are always good.  What is a day?  The google worldnetweb.princeton.edu definition says “time for earth to make a complete rotation on its axis.”

So a day is the time the earth goes around once.  How can this be bad?  How can the earth rotation be bad.  There is no such thing as a bad day.  We decide to make it bad by our judgments of events that happen around us!  Does this make sense?

If you are having a bad day it’s not because bad events are happening to you.  Bad events happen to everyone, it’s because you are judging the event as bad.  What if you judged the event as a oportunity for growth.  What if you judged it as “just life.”  What if you did not even notice it, but instead noticed all the roses and wonderful things in life.  You probably ate today.  You are probably still breathing.  You probably have someone who loves you.  You probably have shelter, clothing, a job, a country that supports you, friends that care about you, and a beautiful blue sky above.  What if you live your life looking at the rose and not the thorns.

How good could that day be?

Awesome, and The End

PS It seems that we really like to go out of our way to let people know when we have a bad day.  How often do you go out of your way to let people know you had a great day?

PPS.  Even more important, how often do you show yourself and your God gratitude for the great days. If you want more great days but you don’t reward  yourself for creating them, then how will you get them?  Furthermore if you want great days, but you don’t tell God thank you for giving them to me, then why would he keep doing it?
